Welcome!
Welcome to the Great British Intelligence Test!
This series of cognitive tests – the Cognitron Challenge – is brought to you by Imperial College London and will push your planning, reasoning, working memory and attentional abilities to the limit.
The Challenge will run a series of short tests lasting between approximately 1 and 4 minutes each. You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire. At the end, you will receive a summary containing personalised feedback on how you performed and your mental strengths.
Note: If you are using a laptop with a touch screen please do not use the touch screen to play the tasks. Touchscreens on mobile devices are fine to use.
Imperial College London will use this data to paint a detailed picture of the nation’s intelligence. Initial results were presented in a special Horizon episode on BBC2. Your contribution will be used by the Department of Brain Sciences at Imperial for academic research.
The challenge and questionnaire should take about 40-50 minutes.
